Biking Lehigh Gorge State Park
First time biking the Delaware & Lehigh (D&L) rail-trail from Jim Thorpe to White Haven, PA.

First time biking the Delaware & Lehigh (D&L) rail-trail from Jim Thorpe to White Haven, PA.
A 15 mile long rail trail that runs from High Bridge to Bartley, New Jersey, through scenic Ken Lockwood Gorge and some small towns.
The D&R Canal towpath from Lambertville at Mt. Hope St. to Frenchtown in New Jersey, then returning on the Pennsylvania side.
A popular hike in Harriman State Park around scenic Pine Meadow Lake, with a little side trip to Conklin Cemetery.
This route packs in a lot: Buttermilk Falls, Crater Lake, Hemlock Pond plus a little jaunt on the famous Appalachian trail.
Hike along fields and through forests and along the Musconetcong River to a nice overlook of the surrounding Hunterdon County farmland.
The trails at Tamarack Hollow Preserve are relatively new and I’d read about their creation a few years ago.
We’d been saving checking out Ireland Brook for a day when we needed a quick, somewhat close-by hike.
Easy 4.6 loop in Cheesequake State Park using the Yellow, Red and Green trails.
We had limited time this weekend and only could manage a quick hike at our go-to park for that, Cheesequake.
We always try to hike on New Year’s Day as it’s just a great way to start the year (and shake off the wine & cheese from the night before!)
