Wandering in Wawayanda – Iron Mountain and Pumphouse Long Loop
We decided to wander around Wawayanda on a fine September day – pleasant and in the mid 70s.

We decided to wander around Wawayanda on a fine September day – pleasant and in the mid 70s.
We wanted to do this hike over the summer, but it was way too hot to do this hike so we waited. We lucked out with a gorgeous Labor Day weekend.
Easy hiking or biking along the shady and scenic Delaware & Raritan Canal heading north from Lambertville to Frenchtown.

The Lemon Squeezer is a rock formation on the Appalachian Trail in Harriman State Park, NY.
The views just didn’t stop on this hike… Hewitt-Butler trail follows along the ridge so there are views almost the whole way.
We only had time for a short hike this weekend, so we headed to Turkey Mountain.
